5th Annual Chelsea River Revel Festival and 5K Race
The Chelsea River Revel is a fun-filled day for the entire family. It is the one day of the year that the Chelsea Creek is opened to the community. Hosted by the Chelsea Creek Action Group, the River Revel will feature a 5K Run/Walk at 10:00am followed by 4 hours of fun on the Meridian St. Bridge from 11:00 to 3:00 including live music, dance, food, and activities for the whole family.
If you've ever wondered what the Chelsea Creek looks like from the water, this is your chance! The Chelsea Creek Action Group will hold 45 minute tours of the Creek on the hour and there will free kayaking all day!
Chelsea Creek Idol!
Have you ever wanted to be on American Idol? Here's your chance to be discovered at the Chelsea River Revel! We'll be holding a Chelsea Creek Idol Competition on the East Boston stage from 2:00-3:00. The competition will include special Celebrity Judges and prizes for the top performances!
Join the Climate Action Puppet Parade!
We'll have a grand old time marching across the Meridian St. Bridge with our Climate Action Puppet Parade. Line up with us at 1:30 next to the East Boston Stage to march into Chelsea and back to East Boston with noisemakers, music, puppets, and posters to let everyone know how to Stop Global Warming and Start Saving the Earth! Look for activities tables in Chelsea and East Boston where you can make posters, noisemakers, and puppets to carry in the parade.
